This product is used to enhance the sound properties of suspended ceilings. They effectively reduce the intensity of vibrations from the floor above and help to prevent noise passing to adjoining rooms. Their design is simple; they merely act as a small bridge between the ceiling and the suspended ceiling wire. They should be fixed to the metal joists, but can be used for timber joists if attached using the correct fixings. They are zinc plated for maximum strength.
